About an Hour features some of the best long-form improv I have ever seen. Don't expect manic and over-the-top comedy; these four performers - Jim Annan (hey, he has a blog!), Rob Baker, Jan Caruana and Alex Hatz - are focused, calm and take things at a walking pace.
Annan, Baker and Hatz are pros (though Baker smirks a bit too much for my taste), but Caruana is an absolute genius. I'm still marvelling at the brilliant dirty math joke she made up on the fly. (It involved the formula for calculating the circumference of a circle... Oh, you had to be there.)
